How much would a plane ticket cost from the US to the UK?

I also want to know if the Train is Cheaper. I don't want it to take forever to get there, but I need to start saving money, and I need to know how much for a Plane Ticket or a Train Ticket. Thanks in advance.|||Approx. $740 - depends on when you go.|||I don't understand what makes you think you could get from the US to UK via train? - unless you mean taking the train to another part of US and then flying?|||Depends where and when exactly. Right now, cheapest is $460 on a sale offer from Virgin Atlantic to London from JFK and/or Newark. http://www.bookingbuddy.com is great at snooping out the absolute best airfare between 2 cities, all in 1 go so you don't have to check Kayak, each airline site, Orbitz, Priceline, Cheaptickets, etc. etc. one-by-one. It's a huge time-saver.|||In case you didn't know, there's an ocean between the two. While there's a train under the channel, there isn't one across the Atlantic.
