Are there any requirements about the plane you fly in order to get the CPL?

like a minumum of weight, power, etc.

And what about this plane? Can i get my CPL, flying it?(except the night and instrumental flying time)

I'm thinking to gain flight time in a sport aircraft and for the night and instrumental flying to hire a performan aircraft for big money. Is this possible? (I mean legal)|||As far as I am aware you can build your hours on any aeroplane in the UK that has a Certificate of Airworthiness. Good luck.|||I have a Buddy who got his CPL flying a Piper Tomahawk. So I would think as long as you have an IFR panel you could do it.|||I don't think a kit plane would get you there.
