Suppose i am 6feet tall then a 3feet mirror will show my full image(read in a textbook). But i think that a 2 feet mirror will also show full image(have't tried!!!).You know if we cover half of convex lens then also image will be shown but only the intensity will reduce. The same thing should happen with plane mirror What do u think.
And if you say 3 feet mirror will show full image of 6feet man then please prove it.|||You need a 3 foot flat mirror (minimum). The diagram shows that you look on the mirror at a point half way between you feet and your eye plus a point half way between the top of your hair and your eye, i.e., the mirror must be at least 1/2 your height to see your full height regardless how close you stand to the mirror.
