What is something in music that resembles a plane (like in geometry) and suggests a sense of infinity?

I am doing a project for geometry and we have to find shapes in the real world. My theme is music and I need to find a plane, but it has to suggest a sense of infinity because planes are infinite. Any suggestions?|||My first attempt just disappeared, so ...
