How much is a plane ticket to Germany?

I have a friend in Germany and I'm planning to go visit him next winter (2009-2010). My friend's mom goes to Germany every few months, and she said she'd take us along and we could go visit him.


I have to pay for a plane ticket, however, and what price range would one be in?
